Hi, my name's Adrian and this is my startup Bosko.

Bosko's mission is to improve drain laying through practical innovation that helps plumbers be more effective, sustain longer, healthier careers, and earn more.

I started Bosko when I was a Plumbing apprentice near the end of 2025. I found something that consistently frustrated me, other apprentices and tradesmen, was getting primer on our hands. I remember in Tafe the teacher mentioned the carcinogenic properties of PVC primer and the whole class moaned about constantly getting it on their hands. In this moment I had a feeling this was a solvable issue and I was extremely excited to work on it.

The Bosko Applicator Lid is the solution I came up with and I've been developing it and the business around it since. I've valued the lean startup principal, making the minimum sellable product and seeing if it genuinely gets adopted by who it's for. It's been widely adopted and shaped by hundreds of plumbers.

It's great to be able to make a contribution to the people who do vital work laying the foundations for our buildings and crucial sanitary systems. The plumbing community, specifically, plumbers who want to be more effective are who this business is here to serve.
