Hi, my name's Adrian and this is my startup Bosko.

Bosko's mission is to make Drain Layer's and Plumber's lives easier and longer. I started Bosko when I was a Plumbing apprentice near the end of 2025. I found something that consistently frustrated me, other apprentices and tradesmen, was getting primer on our hands. I remember in Tafe the teacher mentioned the carcinogenic properties of PVC primer and the whole class moaned about constantly getting it on their hands. In this moment I had a feeling this was a solvable issue and I was very excited to work on it.

The solution I ended up with is Bosko Applicator Lid and I've been developing it and the business around it since. I've valued the lean startup mentality, making the minimum sellable product and seeing if it genuinely gets adopted by who it's for. It's been adopted, and I estimate there at least 200 active users now and your feedback has been great. Now the work it to make it higher quality, more affordable/accessible and spread the word about it.

It's great to be able to make a contribution to the people who do vital work laying the  foundations for our buildings and crucial sanitary systems. You, the plumbing community, are legends. You've been happy to help a developing product with valued feedback and new ideas. Thank you!
